Plus, the arcade can be a frugal experience for those on a budget. Also, if it’s the right time of day, you can get a pretty good meal at the arcade. Being around with friends and family and having dinner is a fantastic way to have a fun time.

Lastly, the simplest and probably cheapest way to have a great time in terrible weather is to just stay indoors with some friends. However, that doesn’t condone sitting around and mope. Instead, invite your buddies over and have a movie night. Having a fire going and some hot cocoa to pass around is a great idea too. If you can’t get transportation, use your feet. It saves the environment and it keeps you from staying cooped up by yourself. You can create fun games to play with your guests or have a baking party. Even if you don’t have a lot of supplies yourself, ask your friends to bring supplies over.

Clearly, the warmer months are much easier to plan for and there are plenty of ideas to do when the weather is warm. However, your life doesn’t have to shut down when the first snowflakes fall. Instead, embrace the change of pace and come up with new and exciting ideas to impress your friends and family. By taking charge of the situation, you can have a fantastic time despite the weather.
